September Student of the Month

Katelyn Hinchey-AP U.S. History- Mr. Thomas

 

Katelyn has done an amazing job in the AP US history so far this year!  She has stepped up to the challenge of AP! I am very proud of her and all of her hard work!  Keep up the good work and you will pass the AP exam with ease! 

 

Mason Goheen- AP English 3-Mr. West

 

Mason is an excellent student in my class and demonstrates excellent leadership skills. She is always punctual and diligently works, and he is never a distraction to his peers.

 

Library-Ms. Kirk-Mason is such a great guy!  He always does what is asked of him with a smile and a wonderful attitude.  He’s also very detail oriented which is very helpful in the library.  We are working on a huge project and he is so understanding about it.  Thanks for everything!

 

Zach Pike-English 1- Mrs. Hopkins

 

Zach is a very hard working student who always does his best.  He is prepared everyday that he comes to class. He is always on task and always turns in his assignments on time!  He is attentive, participates, and questions/answers in periods and discussions. He volunteers for jobs for collecting assignments, and he is extremely friendly.

 

Nyleena Darnell-Foods Aide-Mrs. Hedges

 

Nyleena is a huge help to me during my Foods Management class. I can’t thank her enough for all that she does.

 

Bailie Shafer- Spanish 1- MrsPacheco

 

Bailie is a great student!  She is quick to answer, and does so with joy.  Her hard word and zest show in all that she does!

Shelby has been doing a great job so far this year!  He is working hard to edit the Scoop.  He is learning how to use new equipment for our media program.  He is working hard in AP. And he has a fantastic attitude every single day.

Haleigh is a pleasure to have in class.  She is always friendly, focused and ready for class.

 

Erin Connell -Relationships-Ms. Edwards

 

Erin is a huge help as my teacher's aide.  She is always willing to help me with anything.  She is also a great leader in FCCLA and always has great ideas for projects.  She works well with others and is always willing to help others.

 

Haley Russell Peer Tutor-Major Deboe

 

Since becoming a peer tutor for the 2011-2012 school year, Haley has demonstrated exceptional knowledge in subject content areas.  She also has maintained professional standards at all times, while interacting both with staff and students.  She shows a high level of enthusiasm when she is tutoring her peers.

 

Elizabeth Remley- AP Studio Art- Ms. Pesoat

 

Outstanding artist and student.  Elizabeth always puts forth her best effort and is always willing to do what is asked of her.  Her work is of high quality, showing the time and thought put into it.

Quinn Lambert-Geometry honors-Ms. Thomis

 

Quinn is an exceptional student and person.  He is always polite, always respectful and a great delight have in my class.  He is all time great with his desire to do his best with his geometry.  He does all assignments on time.  I would love a class full of Quinn clones!

 

Hilaree Pittman- World Civ-Mr. Hicks

 

Hilaree’s work has been excellent.  She is very hardworking, and conscientious about my class. Hilaree is always prepared and is a great contribution to the class.

Hillaree has done an outstanding job on every assignment so far this year.  She has also taken three AR tests, thus exemplifying one of my class ideals of not procrastinating.  She has a bright smile and terrific attitude everyday, and I so much appreciate her pleasant demeanor.  Keep up the Great work, Hillaree!!

Haley has been a part of m classroom now for three years.  She is such an irreplaceable component!  Her attitude is great.  She is always so willing to help others.  She is such an asset here at Reidland to me, and many others!

 

 

Kaylee McCollum-Humanities & Guitar-Mr. Page

 

Kaylee has done a great job in Humanities- she nearly has a perfect grade.  She's polite, respectful and tries to laugh at the right times.  In guitar class, Kaylee was the fastest student on our treble clef quiz.  Great job!

 

 

Blake Lindsey-Honors Chemistry-Mr. Rathgeber

 

Blake is a pleasure to have in the classroom. He works hard, contributes to class discussions and puts in 100% on everything he does.  Keep up the good work, Blake!!

 

Sam Guill- Human Body Systems-Mrs. WIlloughby

 

You have impressed me, already this year.

 

You’ve stepped up to the plate and are doing great in everything, Student council and HBS!  You represented the school wonderfully at the Chamber’s breakfast.  I look forward to what this year has in store for you! Congratulations, and keep it up!!

 

Selenia Ortiz-Algebra I-Mrs. Ramage

 

Selenia is a hard worker in class.  She will ask questions when she doesn't understand.  I can show her an example and she can follow that example and work other problems that are similar.  She is a joy to work with in class.

 

JT Manning-English 4-Ms. Sloan

 

Where do I begin?  Not only is JT prepared for class each day and does everything expected of him, he has a 100% for his midterm grade and his completed this AR grade for the entire 9 weeks already! JT also had the daunting task of being the first student in class to lead Friday Forum- and did an awesome job!  Way to start the year out with a bang!

 

Claire Poirier-Geometry-Mr. Emerson

 

 

As a freshman Geometry student, Claire has demonstrated that she possesses a strong work ethic, looks for unique ways to solve problems, and strives to excel in mathematics.

 

Anna Duncan-FFA-Mr. Wood

 

Anna shows her dedication to FFA while currently serving as Reidland FFA President.  She has high moral character and is very motivating to younger students that she works with.  Anna has learned many leadership skills in FFA and the school, as well as the community, benefits from her abilities.  I look forward to seeing the tremendous potential that Anna possesses grow this year, not only in FFA but in life.
