HLOE had a phenomenal blood drive on January 25th.  The efforts of the students, teachers, parents, and community members produced 107 units of blood for area hospital patients in need.  This blood drive set the record for the largest elementary school blood drive in McCracken County Schools!

 

The Red Cross relies on our volunteers to help get the job done.  The Leadership students did an excellent job fulfilling their responsibilities, from calling donors about appointment times to working during the blood drive.

 

This was a total team effort that everyone at HLOE is very proud of and we look forward to an even more successful blood drive next year.
