What is the Family Resource and Youth Services Center?
Family Resource and Youth Services Centers were created as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA). The intent of the K.I.D.S. First Family Resource and Youth Services Center is to enhance student's abilities to succeed in school by assisting children, youth, and families in meeting some of their basic needs.
K.I.D.S. First promotes networking between families and community resources by linking them to services in the community or providing them with services through our center.
The K.I.D.S. First FRYSC is available to all children (and their parents) that are enrolled at Concord Elementary, Heath Elementary, and Heath Middle Schools.
