Academic Team

Concord's Academic Team is comprised of a selective group of 4th and 5th grade students.  These students compete in Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Arts and Humanities, Writing Composition, and Quick Recall events.  Students will compete against other schools and students in our region.  Coaches are fifth grade teacher, Ms. Megan Mayne and second grade teacher, Mrs. Gena Karnes.

Last year, the CES Academic Team impressed everyone who came to support them!  The students accomplished many different awards including:

* 1st place Quick Recall – West Kentucky Invitational Tournament

* 1st place Quick Recall and Overall Team – District Governor's Cup

* 1st place Quick Recall – Regional Governor's Cup
